Combining these approximations with our desire to keep our fees as reasonable as possible, we arrived at our $1,500 flat fee for an uncomplicated Chapter 7 case. Complications, such as hostile creditors, misrepresentations, or large amounts of debts and assets can substantially increase the cost.
Legal Fees for Chapter 13 Bankruptcies
Most Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases without complications take around 30 attorney hours and 15 paralegal hours, though individual cases vary in the time requirement. Combining these approximations with our desire to keep our fees as reasonable as possible, we arrived at our $3,000 flat fee for an uncomplicated Chapter 13 case. Usually, a small portion of this fee is paid upfront and the rest is paid later through the bankruptcy plan. Complications, such as hostile creditors, misrepresentations, or large amounts of debts and assets can substantially increase the cost. 
Legal Fees for Other Bankruptcy Cases
Other bankruptcy cases are handled on an hourly fee basis. Our fees are $175 per hour for attorney time and $75 per hour for paralegal time.
